Stats show that ND 00 and 01 who recently got Bio code1 (within last 2 months) are getting approvals within 30-40 days after their Bio. We have seen a recent wave of approvals and if you look at their Bio code1 date, it is within 30 or little over 30 days. Most of them haven't been asked for any additional evidence either. I guess someone is really kicking their ass at NSC to get this thing over with.

But what is Code 01 or 02. I had my biometrics done on September 21, 2005. It says on the appointment letter Code 1. I got my asylum in 1996. I am getting so desperate to get legalized here that my lawyer and I are considering filing a lawsuit against INS to force them to act. It's quite pricy, so I wanted to ask you if, according to your stats, I will be getting GC soon and may be I don't need to spend all that money to hurry the immigration. Thank you in advance for your reply!

What is Code 01 02?

I got my fingerprints done on September 21, 2005. The appointment letter said Code 1. What does it mean? By the way, I got my asylum in 1996. Still waiting and considering filing a lawsuit against INS in the District Court. Should I give it a bit more time?

Please watch my signature and give us a detailed history of your case?

Ksuxa,
Looks like you did not apply for GK in 1997-98-99 , but you should .And now
it does not matter when you got asylum approval , INS approving cases (I485)dated 00, 01, 02 ...Wnen did you send I485 ?
Good luck

I came here in 1991, got asylum in 1996, applied for a GC in 1997, and still waiting. Every year they have been sending me notices that my case is still in the process. I have kept them informed of my new addressess promptly. Got my RTD every year. Speaking of waiting long! Any ideas? My lawyer and I are considering filing a Writ of A (some Latin word).. to force INS to act. To those who think having immigration benefits is a privilige are wrong. It's a torture! I cannot tell you what a negative impact it had on my life, workwise, family, etc. I feel much better now that I found this chatline...:}

Well ! I am surprised to hear your story..... yes you can file a writ for CIS to act and they WILL act. But ask yourself that whether you want to pay that money or not?
Have you tried to call 800 and have you ever written them at nebraska?

Well, there are quite a few of us, those who filed between 1996 and 2000. Apparently some file were lost or misplaced. Also the Service Centers were changed: initially I filed at my local office and then they came up with the Center in Nebraska and my file ended up being sent back and forth because they couldn't figure out their own areas of responsibility. I talked to folks in Nebraska, sent them letters, etc. Anyway, I finally got my fingerprints taken in September (I guess the ones from 1992 have faded over the years). What is their next step? When do I send the medical? Will I have an interview? Thank you for your interest and concern everybody!

Well if you sue for action, make sure that you ask for damages. A good attorney can be a valuable resource. Today at CNN I watched a Son of Bitch whose Ass was stuck at toilet seat for 15 minutes and he is suing home depot. These americans do such bull shit so why can't we sue and ask for reasonable damages.

I think ask for one more attorney's opinion (you are not required to file a suit with attorney who filed your initial application) and sue for action and damages.

Very Strange !!!

My friend , Did you already finish your medical/G-325A/BIO code 2 ( Index FP,electronic signature/pic) for green card production?
It's really weird why it's taking so long?? If USCIS even lost your case how they were issuing you RTD every year? Man this is really weird. Filed 485 in 1997 & still waiting :D :D :D :D :confused: :confused: .
Well, good luck may be your misery day's will be over soon.
Atique.
