No idea. But I think one of the guys who was or (still here) in this forum got the same situacion. I don't remember his name but he got his GC by mail without an infopass appointment. Or something like that. I hope he still here and maybe he can tell us about.Any idea why do they transferring case to local office?
Yes it's Buda. I thought that uscis transfered his case to his local office after the 45 daysI know Buda got the GC without having an appointment, after 45 days he call uscis and they told him to wait few more days and he got via mail. We need to hear from someone who already been through the local office experience.
Thank youCongratulations!!!

Yeah I really hope so. Good morning!Good morning everyone I hope we all have a nice valentines with good news.
yesLet me understand, you have a 42 b case approved (verbal approved, and waiting for GC) and you applied for advance parole in order to be able to get out of the country, so you got it and now you have a parole for 5 year? I ask you because I need to go to my country but I'm not sure if I is a good idea do it through an advance parole.
I have friends who was approved for asylum and travel back to their country. My lawyer said that even if the judge verbally approved 42b, I could not leave the country until I obtained the green card and if they accepted the asylum application, they cannot travel to the country of origin because it is assumed that you applied for asylum because your life was in danger.
