We are not safe. if we are people of color not matter we may get detained. Until they found out that we have a case. That's why we never have to leave our work permits or green card. Because we can get detained or questioned just because our color of skin. we are targets now. No to far from where I live the mayor had a statement about a member of US military veteran was detained because he couldn't proved he's status I'm guessing. Is getting rough.

I emailed my lawyer just to hear her opinion and here was her reply.
You are technically still considered to be in removal proceedings. Should anything happen, you would return to those removal proceedings.
If by any chance you encounter an ICE officer, you would tell them you got a provisional grant of your 42B pending visa numbers. They will likely have no idea what that means, but they should if they are going to inquire about people's immigration status.

We just need to be vigilant and make sure all our documents are in order. Make sure we maintain being a good citizen of this country. There’s a reason that the judges approved our cases. We went through the legal process fair and square. We showed up to all appointments and present all the documents needed to support our cases.
We need to have some sort of paperwork with us wherever we go that if we get stopped and questioned, we have at least something to show them. I just don’t know what specific documents would be acceptable on top of our driver’s license and EAD. But I hope those are enough.
It also doesn’t make sense that they send us home with our “provisional grant pending visa numbers” status. I’ve read it multiple times before when my dad passed away that once we leave without travel parole, it meant we are abandoning our application/case.
I’m trying to stay positive from all these. But I still believe that God is above all laws in this world and in His time we will get what we have been waiting for in a loooong time.

Yes I’ve been having issues. I’m hoping and praying that they are updating the system with approvals! It happened last time and Raj got approved.

hello, i'm new here, can someone help me please? my husband and i won our 42b case, the verbal approval was in june 2022. we sent our work permit cards to apply for in april 2023 but they only sent it to me in 2024 for 5 years, but with the a05 category, my lawyer said that ucsis had made a mistake, that sometimes this happened but that it didn't affect me in any way. my husband never got his permit card, i always check the app to see if they are going to send him his work permit and today when i went to the ucsis app this is what appeared, does anyone know anything about it? i have also tried to check the status with the a number but apparently there are problems because it won't let me see anything.

I don’t know a lot about it but yes that happens my neighbors had court and that same day their passport was stamped. And weeks later got green cards !
Wow sorry for this situation do you ask your lawyer?? What is happening maybe. Mistake from them ?
