employment terminated after RFE no JOB now

1 I485 filed on 31-jan-2002
2. Presently on 2nd EAD
3 Employment terminated on 1-dec-2003
4 Lawyer inform INS about termination along with the info needed in RFE (INS received on 8-dec-2003).
5 I have applied for EAD extension on my own (current one is expiring on 3-3-2004)
6 I have no lawyer to present my case now.
7 I am unseccessful in finding a job till now.

Question
1. If do not get job then what will be impact on my GC processing?
2. if I get job somehow what I need to do?

File G28 now to change lawyer ASAP. Or fire the lawyer (use G28 to inform USCIS).
You will get a RFE on employment anytime now. If you dont have a job at the time of employment RFE and you do not respond to the RFE, you will get intent to deny I485...

As soon as you get a job send the employment offer letter to USCIS with I485 receipt.

What was the other RFE for?
 
Why does Lawyer respond for Your RFE? He is no more representing you. How can he inform about your termination?
I-485 is your petetion. You can report it AILA.

He should not have informed about your termination to CIS. Try to get a job. At least they have to provide you an employment letter.

You may get Intent to denial notice or case may be transferred to local office. But you need to respond with positive employment letter.

In fact on DEc-5-2003 he send the letter of employment, dob affidavit to INS and in convering letter he menttion that on 1-dec-2003 employment is terminated.

Bull. When he filed your I-485, he was acting as YOUR attorney.

Right now your job #1 is to find another job in a similar or same occupation. As fast as possible.
Job #2 is to find another attorney. If you do not, just file a G-28 and indicate you will be representing yourself.
Job #3 is to report this attorney to the state bar association for not representing you properly.

Once he files I-485 he should represent you. I-485 is your petition.It may be the question on ethics of Lawyer. Send G-28 immediately. Change your attorney. This should be done immediate otherwise all communications will got same Lawyer. He may create such non sense again.

Did you ask him not to send the information that you are terminated? if yes keep the document.

What was the RFE?
