I have received approval notice of I485 on May 17 2005. But, I am so
much painful with employer by moral pressure. Few days ago, I noticed to
employer for my leave the company with 2 weeks notice. Currently still I
couldn't get a chance to get the pp stemp at the Local USCIS office.
I will get the PP stemp next Wednesday.

The employer is very angry and they will try to revoke my approved I485.
Is that employer possible to revoke my approved I485?

But, I have no new employer now. and I have a plan to visit my country
within a month due to my mother is very sick.

Thanks for your advise. :(

In my opinion, there is no such thing as revoking approved 485 on the same lines as revoking 140. What your employer can do is to report to the USCIS that you did not intent to work for them upon GC approval. In your case, you do intent to work, right?

With regard to reporting to the USCIS, your employer may or may not report it, even if they do, USCIS may or may not act on that complaint and even if they do act, they may or may not revoke your GC. It is not that easy, although possible.

You are asking for a leave to visit your mother, who happens to be ill, your employer should give you some time off. Now if your employer is not happy with your work or time off, they can lay you off. That is not a problem in terms of your intent to work. You can go and find another job on your GC. If you have your approval notice with you, you can get your PP stamped, your employer does not control that.

If there is something else, post it here, maybe there is wayout.
