Employee change after EAD & H1 extension

I have I-140 and EAD (its more than 6 months after getting EAD)..

My current 6 yr H1 period is expiring in another month.

Can I change employee (H1 transfer) & file for an extension with the new employer.... ?

Intending to using the H1 since I am not married...(not use the EAD).

If you satisfy the requirement of 7th year extension, yes you can.
Intending to using the H1 since I am not married...(not use the EAD).
