Email of Approval notices

Worrying! Worrying! Worrying!

Guys, I think we are blowing it out of proportion. Because we are already circulated in there system. I understand we all had a tense time in past couple of year. But now we all have GC. We are all set. The only reason USCIS is sending this letter is to make sure people receive it.

That's my idea. I am not a lawyer. This is just my thought.

I too received one -- on the mail!

I got a courtesy copy today of my approval, no AD is specified. Already have my card since march!!

CRAZY

What to do?

Question

Guys,
How long it takes to received the approval or welcome notice after the email?
I got email on 5/12.
Thanks

What should I do now?

VSC issued a plastic GC to me, then I received Form I-797C Welcome Notice, which states that I should receive a new Permanent Resident Card with the next 3 weeks.

What should I do now?

I got the new approval notice for spouse saying that card will be sent in 3 weeks. Incidentally this has a welcome notice too !!! Finally I feel welcome. The only worrying part (if any) is that the notice date is 11th May. As long as the new card (if sent) has the "correct resident" since date I am not going to worry.

Hi, I got the approval notice as well but the notice date is May 12, 2005. Since notice date is the date when the notice was issued which can never be back date to the day when originally it was issued.

Gurus please advise.

Thanks for the reply.

Can you explain "Indeed I finally just got my copies of the notices for SXXXXXX and his wife so I can send you my final legal advice letter."

Do I need to do anything or send a letter to USCIS with a copy of GC and approval notice??

Guys:

I got the approval emails of I485 for me and my spouse yesterday .... but nothing after that.

I have seen others getting "Approval" emails ... then immediately "Card Ordered" emails. When should I expect the subsequent emails and what should they typically be ?

thanks for your input.

You will only get email for Approved. The letter notice may mention that Cards have been ordered, though I doubt seriously that cards will be sent again.

The approval notice is more valuable then the welcome notice obviously. Anyway My guess is this is just a formality since our status is already circulated in this system.

I don't think is should cause any problem. So enjoy your freedom...
