hi folks.
i have a very quick question. one of my friends has a unconditional greencard. she's got conditional green card in 2004.then divorce-10 year green card. anyways i thought count for citizenship starts from a day one of green card(regardless 2 year or 10 year greencard).so she could apply for citizenship. but she said that she had consultation with a lawyer and count starts from the day she's got unconditionla green card. im 99% sure i'm right but checked net for that 1% doubt. couldnt find info about divorced ones. everywhere says if you still married 3 years. please tell me that i;m right so i can make her happy with news. thanks and looking forward for answers
