I539 efile for extension of B2 VISA for I-94 with "No EOS/COS"

My mother's I-94 has "No COS/EOS" writtern on I94.

Someone told me that if I do efile then I don't need to send the I-94 (or any supporting document) unless they specifically ask for it.

So there are chances that the application may get approved without sending any supporting evidence.

Is it true that if you efile I539, there is no need to send I94 and other supporting document.

Any help on eFile process would be really helpful.

"No COS/EOS" means No Change of Status/Extension of Stay. They need her I-94 because is her only document that indicates her status and how she enter to the US.
In any case be aware that even she is granted an extension of stay without showing the remarks can cause problems later on. It is the same thing with the POE officer that sometimes they made an error to put a wrong date (past year or longer period of stay) that it should be given, in any case you as B2/B1 should know your limits.
Good luck,

Does "No COS/EOS" is on record with INS as well?

Thanks cherr1980.

Does INS in thier system keep record of such text as "No COS/EOS" written on I94?

Also, would my mother get another VISA (extension) if she travels to Singapore and comes back to US without going to INdia?

It is my understanding that all information or some remarks are written in the system. But how we can know!
If she travel outside the US is like another exit. Let's say she goes to Singapore and then she decide toc ome back to the US she will receive a new I-94.
It is better that she stay a little longer in Singapore and then return to the US if she can.
Good luck,

10 years ago, I used to go back and forth on B1s a lot. Once, an officer quizzed me about my past trips. He could even pull up the trade-shows I had stated as reason for the trip at the time.
So, don't assume that the goverments computer doesn't contain a flag or field containing the 'no COS/EOS' restriction.

hadron, you are very right. You may win some of the times, but it only takes one time for us to catch you in a lie and sent you home with a cancelled visa. After you get your visa cancelled it is not easy to get a new one.

rocky, you are such a looser. Your story of beeing a CIS officer is just infantile and has been proven wrong multiple times before. Just go away.

Hi were you able to extend your mother's stay? I am facing a similar issue with no COS no EOS stamped on my I94 and on my passport. Can you still file for an extension still.

With that annotation on your I-94, I would strongly advise you not to file an I-539 and depart the US before your I-94 expires.

I second what TC had said. Your case is flagged. Getting an extension is difficult and you will face lot of problems when you comes next. This had happened to my friend.
