Hai all,

Hope someone answer my question. My LC got approved recently and my company A is going to file for I-140. I am currently work for A's office in the state of New York and my LC is also filed in Dep of Labor in NY. I am planning to move to A's office in the state of Georgia for personal and business reasons. I am not sure whether this will affect my GC process. Does my LCA filed as part of H1 have to be changed from NY to GA?. Any idea, what other changes have to be done?.

HR/Immigration department in my company is so naive and they could not answer any questions. I just want to be sure what are all things have to be done before the change of location.

Thanks a ton in advace!

Your LC or I 140 is nothing to do with your current job and their locations.

It's irrelevant with regards to the GC process. However, you should ensure that your LCA (if you are on H-1B) is updated to show your new location, and that you file AR-11 when you move in order to comply with USCIS change of address regulations.
