effect of proposed cancellation of GC

we became GC holders in 2003. our daughters became GC holders in 2004. at present we are out of USA on re-entry permit.we may consider not to enter USA again, provided our daughters' GC are not affected. do you all think we can cancel the GC without affecting daughters' GCs?

That depends. Will your daughters still be residing in the US?
 
it doesent matter where you reside .there is no effect on ur daughters residency...
i got here the same way in 95..my parents went back to india as soon as i got here...infact i took 2 trips...96-98 and 98-2001.....ever since 2001 i have been residng here ...i got approved for citizenship last week....
