Educational Credentials for Engineers

Hi all,

I will apply for a TN visa next year and will be hired under the title of Industrial Engineer in the NAFTA category of Engineer. I possess a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from a Mexican university.

My question is, given that the NAFTA profession is Engineer, is it safe to assume that I am eligible for a TN even though I will be hired in a sub-category of Engineer (Industrial Engineer)?

Make sure you evaluate your degree equivalency of Mexican University to US degree.
I did mine but he never asked.
 
Equivalency is not needed for Mexican degrees (translation might be), just like canada. That is part of the regulations.
