Education Documents - Include Awards as well?

I got a couple of awards back in University eg. Best Academic Record Award, etc.

Should I submit those during the interview day or just the transcript?

Same question, but for work experience.

Thanks!

I don't think it is necessary to bring awards. Just the diploma is needed. Transcript is not required but it is recommended to bring incase the consular wants more proof.

You're applying for a visa, not a job. :)

To proof Occupation, Job Title, Self Employment

Just to make me clear please answer:

As I am working in IT field for long time, I wrote "I. T. Professional" in DS-230, item no 12 -Your present Occupation. Also in DS-230, item no 22 - List all employment for the last ten years. I wrote:
**Employer: SELF EMPLOYMENT
**Location: My Location Name
**Job Title: I. T. PROFESSIONAL
**From/To: Oct-1998 to Till now.

I am not a Computer Graduate or even I did not attend or never take any courses from any Computer School or College. I read Microsoft networking books and practiced myself then attended Microsoft online exams and earned two certificates.
1. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
2. Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
Note: They called these certificates as Vendor Certificates.

Also I am collecting some professional documents or work experience certificates from different Companies, Browsing Center (CAFE), Individuals - that I have been supporting them for their day to day Computer Operations for several years.

As I know, at interview to proof my Educational Qualification I have to submit my Educational Certificates.

Now, my question:
(1). Do I need to submit those Microsoft certificates and also those professional documents or work experiences certificates to proof my Present Occupation, Job Title (I. T. Professional - as written in DS-230) and SELF EMPLOYMENT?

Thanks

What is your last formal education achieved?

If you have an education that is equivalent to a U.S High School, you don't need to show job certificate, etc.

There are two ways to be qualified for DV: by education or by job experience.
If you have the right education (High School), you don't need to proof anything about your job. If you don't have the required education and want to qualify based on job experience, then you will need all the documents that you mentioned.

Fill in the DS-230 as accurate as you can. What you filled in is fine. You need to pay close attention on the DSP-122 on question 6 and 7. This is where they see which one are you qualified for (education or occupation). If you already qualified by the education requirements, don't worry too much about question 7. But, if you are not qualified by education requirements (Question 6), make sure you write as detail as possible about your occupation and job experience.

Getting qualified through occupation is a lot harder than education.

Again...you're applying for a visa, not a job.

Hi Gerindo,
Again. If someone qualify both categories and fill in form DSP-122 no.6 and 7. what should they submit?
Just educational requirement or work paper or both.
Thank you again.

If someone qualified for both, I would recommend to choose to be qualified through education. Then, you need to submit your Diploma. Transcript is recommended to bring.

No need to bring anything about your work.

When I went for my visa interview, i was told that they weren't sure I had enough education so I produced 3 gold stars I got in Primary school (one for getting all my sums right, one for attendence and one for speling). I also showed them a picture of a helicopter I painted when I was 7 (it won 3rd prize in a competition. I received a £20 book voucher).

That was the clincher.

They granted my visa and wished me on my merry way.

Did you show consular you have high school certificate?
what educational evidence you show them?
