EB3 with current PD

Anyone having similar experience. pls share your case status and history

My PD is current, case history is given below

EB3 India with PD Apr 30 2001
485 RD Dec 2004
1st FP Code 3 - Aug 2005
2nd FP Code 1 - Jan 19 2007
LUD on 485: 01/24/2007, 01/25/2007

I called the help line and she said as I have given my FP recently, i cannot raise a case status check before 30 days.

wow...thats very close to mine....hey did you see LUD on your case after giviing latest FP on Jan 20 2007
 
not really, there was a msg change in dec ~ 12 that said fingerprints recd blah blah. I guess most others had this update on their cases, didnt mean anything. It still has the same msg. I am thinking there should be an lud soon, when the fp results get updated when fbi clears them and sends them back.
 
Few other who got their GC approved recently got it in range of 2 days to 1 month after they gave their FP and PD is current. Some cases did not even have change in LUD. not sure where does my case stands currently at VSC. its a nail biting experience and cannot focus my mind anywhere else apart from this forum and uscis case status login

recently (Jan 19) one guy got approved with PD of APR 29. This person gave FP code 1 on Jan 17 and got approved on Jan 19 without any change in LUD. But he has to wait for FP Code 2 before he can get his card.

In my case i efiled EAD in Nov 2006 and gave FP Code 2 for EAD in Jan 4 2007. not sure if they will take this in consideration and order for production of card or they will send another notice with FP code 2 before the order the card.
 
Count me in too

I spoke to the rep yesterday and she stated that we have to wait till 60 days after the pd become current. I also requested an inquiry but didn't have any reply yet. :(

i am thinking of giving a week time and then take an infopass to chk on the status.

i pray that is the case. i tried finding this out by calling help desk and no +ve response. i also tried scanning the forum for this answer and there was no +ve response. but when i saw few cases similar like ours...they got FP and then got approved in 2 days to 1 month period.

lets see...the only way to find this out is by taking infopass apointment.

I am in a similar situation - had 2nd FP done on 01/20/07, and both my wife and I have LUDs on 01/24 and 01/25. No message change though - it is still the same old fingerprint review completed.

I had called the FBI yesterday and was told that our FP results were sent back to USCIS within 24 hrs. I guess the LUDs mean the USCIS has received the results.

I don't think your PD impacts processing sequence in any way at this stage. If you have a visa available, they may go by 485 RD. But since this is USCIS, anything is possible - for all you know, they probably reach into a bag containing applications and randomly pull out a few for processing. :)
 
did your change in msg says that FP review completed or jsut change in LUD. mine is just change in lud on 24 and 25 for both mine and my spouse case...
 
The message says FP review completed - but that message has been there for the last several months. Only the LUD changed - the message is the same.
 
PD is current. First FP was done in April 2005. Had an infopass appointment last Tuesday, but not much help. Person at USCIS office didn't tell that name check is done or not. She told me that finger printing is expired and Service Center should send another one.

My case is similar to urs:

EB3 INDIA/CSC/ April 30th 2001
I 485 RD: June 2002
Last FP done: July 2005

Infopass and call to USCIS confirmed that Namecheck has been cleared. But did not do anything about the expired FP.

I am also anxiously waiting for FP notice...looks like we cannot do anything to initiate FP but just wait.

Please keep me posted and hopefully we get through this soon!

i just saw change in LUD on our 765 efiled application.

we efiled 765 in Nov 2006, gave FP code 2 for EAD on Jan 4th 2007.

in last two days i have seen 6 changes lud changes on 4 apps

485 lud changes on 01/24 and 01/25
765 lud changes on 01/25

i guess you should go for an infopass and sometime they generate a FP notice from there....few people in the forum visited infopass and were able to convince the officer to give out a request for FP...

I tried that option but did not work....atleast in San Jose
