I Think no one is comingout and providing their information. there are lot of people who applied in 2001. please come forward and update this thread so that we may know how many people are still waiting for their GCs

Has anyone considered the possibility that a lot of 01 PD filers have already been approved. In 2004 all of the service centers went on an approval rampage and I am guessing that a lot of 98-2001 filers have already been approved. I personally know of a lot of 01 guys who were approved in 04.

Most of the Labor Certs that got stuck are from 2002 onwards. I am sure of that. A lot of the 02 and beyong LCs were sent up to the Backlog reduction centers. There just aren't that may 01s around. the 245i cases are another story.

I am one of the unfortunate 01 filers that missed the "approval train".

That is the key issue here

less than 50 folks here with PD before 2001 and CIS niether approving them nor moving the dates or giving an explanation of these dates or number of cases in the system before 01. like this even the quota avialable to them will be left out each quarter. one way is to write to ombudsman asking same questions as he is the one who has some authority to ask CIS and CIS is bound to at least clarify...

Can anyone write a good letter to Ombudsman, so that he may think over our problems and concerns. USCIS has to clarify our concerns

Guys and Gals,

I am willing to draft a letter on behalf of 01 filers. It will have a greater impact if we can get each persons address and signature on the letter. I am not sure if people would be willing to do this. A single letter explaining the situation and supporting it with signatures will have a greated effect on the Ombudsmans. The other option is to write separately but that may not be as effective.

Any other suggestions are welcome. It is high time that we Pre 2002 PD filers get some attention to our plight.

Thanks saras76 with the initiative, Yeah, that's correct , we have to put our names and addresses also, if we get 100 signatures, that will be good to send letter to Ombudsmans.

in our thread there are total 72 people who gave their information on that 36 are from 2001, we need to get more people.
maybe we can add 1998,99,00 and 01 people all together and make that letter
any thoughts ????

PD labor certi tracker - RIR/Non-RIR

Hello All,

In our PD labor certi trackers, I think it would be useful if everybody also mentions whether they are in RIR or Non-RIR queue. Because just based on this also there is a wide range. It seems that the BECs are taking up the RIR first and still not started on most of non-RIR.
