what happen after finger prints are taken?

11-18-2006 Biometrics was done. Then, 3-5-07, I-140 approved.
Is there any hope that I-485 will clear soon, considering that I've taken biometrics already?

Looks like you've been waiting a while. Have you considered a WoM at any point?

no I have not. and now that also is not possible. I have send a letter to the Senator and I am waitinf for the FBI responce. I don't know what it will be!! but at least there will be something...

I wanted to file WOM in Jan but my lawyer told me to wait for six months with PD current, but now even that is of no use as we can't file WOM now.

Yes, according to the memo from USCIS dated Feb 20, a mandamus suit would no longer trigger an automatic expedite request for name check processing to the FBI. However, this does not mean that you cannot file a WOM. It does mean that the decision would be up to the district court judge who would oversee the suit, whether or not the judge asks the CIS and FBI to adjudicate within a stipulated period of time. Unfortunately this does mean that cases would take longer to contend and would be more expensive.

I see. My situation is slightly different. My visa numbers have never retrogressed, since I filed under ROW. My wife's name check was initiated the same day as mine (information I got from my congresswoman's office), and her name check came back within a few weeks, whereas I'm still languishing with a pending status. Since I'm the primary, neither AOS cases can be adjudicated. Moreover, I don't know if the transfer to TSC from VSC would cause any additional delays in terms of processing the applications, since I guess they'd need to account for time expended in the actual case transfer.
