All,

Just wanted to give another update that we recieved our cards in mail exactly a week after we got the "Card Production" email. We also got our I-485 Approval notices. So once you get your approval email, expect the card to be in your mailbox within a week to 10 days.

Hello Guys,

I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I checked my yahoo mail and there were 3 emails from CRIS (me, my spouce and my son). I felt so relaxed and never had such a wonderful morning.

I was so frustrated through this waiting period (more than 5 years) especially the last 2 months. I would like to THANK this forum (all the memebers) who have provided such useful information and kept our hopes alive.

I pray to GOD that of yours wish come true as well and only thing I can say is hang on, that's what other members have tld me and I know it's tough but it will come.

I am not sure if my NC was clear since I couldn't reach I/O through POJ method last few times, it wasn't clear until 5th April 2008, that was the last time I was able to talk to an I/O.

However I did send out the letter to
a) Senators (2 of them)
b) FBI section chief
c) First Lady
d) CIS Ombudsman
e) Fax letter to TSC

Please see following post for details, I did everything starting 4/22/2008, so I am thinking something might have helped.

Thanks much shankarAnna, gcfinder, SAI_GIVE_GC2005, other well wishers and members of this forum as well all other forums. Yesterday has been the most satisfying day in more than 7 years. I will keep you guys informed when the cards arrive. I have read in another forum that some of our immigrant friends got the I-485 approval notice e-mail as well as physical e-mail but NEITHER the 'Card Production Ordered' e-mail nor the physical cards.

And, congratulations to all those who have already got the 'Green.'

Good luck to shankarAnna, gcfinder, SAI_GIVE_GC2005 and others who are waiting. I am eagerly looking forward to hearing from each and every member of this forum (set up by our friend SAI_GIVE_GC2005) who polled here and every other EB immigrant.

Got it !!!

Got my card production ordered email on May 16th..... It is a great sense of relief specially when I kept seeing the good news email from my forum mates and wondered when my day is going to come...

It has been a long frustrating journey of 4.5 years and feel like a big load has been lifted off my shoulders. I think I will carry this silly grin on my face whole day.

The only dampener is my wife's application is still pending and hope to get the good news on her too.

It is time to party....

Good luck to all and I am sure most of you in this thread will get to hear the good news before June end. All of us have been through this rough journey together and I will keep visiting this forum for any kind of suggestion / help needed.

Feel free to ask any questions if you have although I have my signature details updated.
