My Lawyer sent me email saying My 485 Application went to National Service center.
Do any one how long does it take to process? Do they call us for Interview?

Called NSC

Just called NSC and asked them about LUDs and the officer said that the memo states that the cases should be approved only by Feb 2009. So dont know what's the deal with "with an Officer for Review" or the couple of LUDs. that happened last week.

Should I still keep my hopes alive ??

I hear you buddy. This waiting business really sucks big time! Every day I check at least 4 different websites, 2-3 times. Been waiting since Oct 2003. These guys up at USCIS have no empathy what-so-ever in terms of what all of us are going through. I have said it before and will say it again that this is a modern form of slavery. In the process, we suffer, our families suffer, America suffers. I could be doing so much more if I had the ability to move from my current job. I could be paying more taxes, helping generate new ideas, helping create new job opportunities, etc.

Oh well ...

I agree with you nidday. I have had the most difficult 32 days from April 1 since 2002.

Guys,

Some of you guys must have read the message I posted earlier in the day expressing my frustration with the immigration system and the long wait. Well guess what - I got back home and checked my Yahoo mail. Saw 2 emails from CRIS - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED - one for me and one for my wife. It still has not sunk in!! Needless to say, I am on Cloud 9.

This forum has been an excellant platform for more than anything - HOPE. I wish each of you the very best and hope that the next time you open your email box, you see the million $ email.

Approved....Got Green today

We got an Email today morning from USCIS for me and my wife saying card production ordered (@ 5.15am) and Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident (@7.15am). Thanks to everyone in this Forum. This forum was very helpful/useful.

PD 1st Oct 2003 - EB2 RIR
I-140 ND 10th Oct 2006, AD 25th Dec 2006.
I-485/FP/EAD/AP - ND 5th June 2007 @TSC .
Checks cleared on 6th June 2007 .
FP appt date 5th July 2007 .
LUD on I-485 after FP - 6th July 2007.
EAD AD 26 July 2007.
AP AD 5th Aug 2007.
No LUDS till May5th 2008 on 485 after finger print.
I-485 for me and my wife AD 5th May 2008.
