I think you are covered this time. Good luck . Unless they comeup with diferent theory.

Note: I seen LUD on my first H1b which approved in 2000. I dont know what are they checking on my decade old approval.

And SAI_GIVE_GC2005: Please remove 'April-08' that is seen in parenthesis against my ID. Eventhough the April-15 processing times at TSC show that my RD is within those dates, I do not think I will get it before April 30, 2008. Appreciate it.

I spoke to another person at TSC yesterday and she said I am eligible for the 180-day rule as per USCIS Feb memo but the USCIS/FBI are also seriously looking into the April 2 memo. So, I was told that I could be getting my I-485 approval anytime between yesterday and February 2009.

Sorry for the late update, but me and my spouse got an "approval notice sent" emails on 04/17/2008 but my daughter case is still pending.

And also we didn't receive a "Card Production" emails after the approval emails. Did any one gone through this situation, because most of them are getting both the emails one after another either on the same day or in 1 or 2 days.

Finally "Got the CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED EMAIL TODAY".....want to yell out loud. Its been a long wait. I am not sure if it helped me but want to pass this on..

I called the NSC last week and they mentioned that my case is under 'Review'-->Assigned to an officer. inquired about the Name check status which they said was cleared.(My service center request 3 months back said that it was pending!!.).
The officer was polite and I asked him if there is anything i can do to expedite the request. He verified my address over the phone and asked me to report any changes if i plan to move.

So Guys, please check the status of your NC. I am not sure talking helped or this is a coincidence but got the magic email today.

I want to thank all of you and wish good luck to you all on your GC.

Consider ND as Processing Time

Hi Imm,
My Attorney also checked my status and USCIS said that it is not out of time frame. They consider ND for Processing Time, which is July 16,2007 for me eventhough my RD is June 18, 2007. I think USCIS find all the loop hole to make them comfortable in giving answers to us

congrats gc0789, The officer at NSC told me the exact same thing , NC cleared, Review with an officer and also verified my address and asked me if i changed the address BUT I am still waiting for approval.

When did you call and when did you get approval ? I also asked if he could expedite for which he said NO for i-485. I asked him when it was assigned to officer, he said April . He asked me to wait for 60 days for which I said its already 24 days so I should only wait for 36 days. Also I asked what if visa retrogress when its with an officer, he said that then he cannot approve.

BOTTOMLINE: He was very nice but of no help.
