Any hope for EB green card holders to get citizenship less than five years????

Simple answer is "NO". Once can apply 90 days before 5th anniversary of getting GC but the actual oath can happen only after 5 years. It is possible to get it faster if one marries a US citizen and stays married for 3 years in which case it is possible to apply under the 3 year rule.

There is a roomer that they are going to make it after 7 or 10 years with this economic crisis.
