Hi,
Today my wife's EAD online status changed to Request for more information (RFE). They did not mention the reason for RFE. I am assuming that some shadow in the photo. My questions are
1. Her AP got approved earlier this month, If her photo is the reason they have issued RFE, will they have approved her AP?
2. We did a concurrent I140/I485 for me and I485/EAD/AP for my wife. If photograph is the issue, we used the same photograph for her I485 application. So should I send new photographs for her I485 before they RFE her I485 ?
3. When we filed for I485/EAD/AP together we did not keep copy of her driving license or color copies of passport. Just her b/w photocopies of passport. Could this be an issue?
 
I also got Email from INS for my Wife RFE on AP/EAD

Please update me when you get REF reason.

I have not received yet letter from INS.

My EAD and AP is approved last week. today I got RFE for my wife .

---- I think it will be for Color copy of her Driving licence or State ID and Color copy of her first page of Passport or copy of Marriage certificate, you will know what they need only when you or your lawyer recieves the RFE
 
Today i got my wife's AP in hand and found that her Date of Birth is wrong. They have made her 20 years more older. My lawyer says it is not a problem and i dont need to get it corrected. What is this forum members opinion?

I received the I-485 approval couple of days back. I have one problem in that. When I applied for I-485 I wrongly typed my initial. After that I sent several letters to INS to change it. But not to anyone's surprise they did not change it. Now my approval notice has the wrong initial. What do I do ? Will the local INS office change it when I go for the visa stamping or I have go through the length process with Vermont Service Center. Please advice me. Thanks

Approv, you face a 10-15 year sentence in federal prison for fraud. Not really. IT'S A TYPO, APPROV, what kind of dictatorship do you think we're running over here! (-; You'll be fine, bud. When you go for the adjustment, take copies of all the letters that the INS has totally ignored to the adjudicating officer, he or she will groan, roll their eyes, and correct your record once and for all. A- What? A computer error? IMPOSSIBLE!

Okay, I admit it: INS does that rather regularly. If the mistake is clearly a typo for example, your name is "Doug" but they typed "Dog"-- it's probably not a big deal. In those cases, we notify INS via certified letter and INS sends corrected notices maybe 1 out of 10 times. If it's something more critical I recently had a client approved for permanent residency in the WRONG category (!) well, then you have to slug it out via fax and letters till the correction is made.

I would like to know your receipt date for the EAD. I filed mine on june 22nd and eagerly waiting for my approval as my current EAD expires on august 11th

We filed for her EAD on June 11th with a RD 6-14, ND 6-15. So you will be getting in it in 1-2 weeks.
