Hi, I was getting ready to file my EAD renewal today but I realized that I do not have my I-94 with me as my immigration officer who did my Adjustment of status interview took it during the interview.

She said "remember you have Parol visa now" you do not need I-94.

Is any body in same situation? What should I send then..Copy of Parol?

Thanks

Check if your AP document has an I-94 stapled on it. If not, then your only option is to send a copy of the AP document showing the entry stamp.

Thanks but I never went outside the country since last year so I only had one I-94 when I was on H1B which was taken by the immigration officer..

Now I have no I-94... don't know why she took it, I never knew if this will be an issue later on...

Usually one's I-94 is only taken away at the AOS interview if approval is to be granted. However, since your adjudicating officer took yours, just send a copy of your AP document. To be honest, your AOS receipt is enough to make you eligible for EAD.

One last thing, do you know what should be written at question number 15 - it says current immigration status.

I am thinking "Pending Adjustment of Status".. other than that I do not have any immigration status right?

Thanks in advance
