EAD Renewal - Docs reqd

EAD Renewal - what Docs are reqd?

Can someone suggest a list of documents required to reniew EAD? Are they all for the basic EAD + 485 receipt + Old EAD or only 485 receipt and Old EAD will do?

I765, photos, check/MO, 485 receipt, copy of current EAD and a cover letter, In all pages (except 765) write A# and 485 receipt number in bold.

EAD renewal

For EAD renewal, I have never attached any cover letter for my EAD renewal and nothing has been mentioned in FORM I-765. But If you can attach top part of your previous EAD (comes with EAD card from INS put it in a paper jocket) .It makes approval becomes faster.

I am also planning to apply EAD and AP renewals

1. Could you please suggest some content for cover letter? (or any sample cover letter?)

2. Should I write A# and 485 receipt numbers on top of all copies (except form 765?)

3. Is personal check ok for paying INS fee ($120)?

4. Do I need to submit Signature card (because my lawyer submitted signature card when I applied EAD first time)? If yes, where can I get that?

Here are the documents I prepared for AP, Could you pl let me know if I miss anything.

1. 2 passport photos. Write A# and name on the back
2. I-131 Form
3. Copy of 485 receipt.
4. Copy of last AP receipt
5. Copy of current AP
6. Copy of I-94(both sides)


7. Write A# and 485 receipt number on all pages except I-131 form

Just now I verified my paper jacket and found that information.

I never heard about adding TOP part of pervious EAD. How did you know that this makes our approval faster?
