I had a question about EAD. Does my lawyer have to apply for EAD or do I have to apply for it.
------ your lawyer can also apply for EAD and you can also directly apply for EAD or AP if you have I-485 filing reciept with you
Is there a procedure to do this.
I also heard that it is a part of the I485 process and you do'nt have to apply for it.
--- EAD and AP can be filed with I-485 , they are NOT part of I-485 process but EAD AP depend on pending I-485, if you or your lawyer dont apply EAD or AP with I-485 you will not automaticaly get EAD AP if I-485 is filed .for EAD you need to fill up form I-765 for AP I-131 and have to pay the fees, send Photographs and other papers, search the threads
