Processing date on my EAD application has been changed to today (06/10/04). I assume they are working on my application.

Can anyone tell me how long will it be before I know the status?

Thanks.

No one ever updated the forum for LUDs(last updated date). Maybe you would like to start it. But looks you are going to get some decision on EAD soon(in a week max).

Any updates hdixit?

Mine too...

The LUD of my EAD has also changed to 06/14/04. (Plz note that my ND is 06/08/04)

As per your guess, its hard for me to believe that I could hear within a week - especially given my LUCK factor so far :D

How did you find out that the date has been updated?

I filed for EAD renewal online on 03/09/04.I still haven't heard anything.

Wait till end of the week. It seems to be going in direction of RFE(don't get scared.).

You were right. I got an email from USCIS saying:

"On June 23, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case.
The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the
notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please
call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above,
or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time
frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283."

Can you please tell me what should I expect to see in this notice? They have sent the notice for both EAD applications for me and my husband.

Getting a little nervous now.

But then you said - you wanted it. Didn't you? :D

Anyway make copies of all the documents that you sent apart from the forms of 140 and 485. You may also be asked for photographs(not nessecarily). Try to respond as soon as you can - you may get approved too(that is another pattern for such RFEs with your background.). Don't read last line without word 'may'.

Keep posted for each step - it will make it easy to predict things.

My Last four digits on EAC are 2097. My ND is also April 1, 2004. No updates on BCIS website. Is your EAC number near to that. I am in C9 category for EAD.

Thanks
