EAD online status - Out of sync

Hello,

I received my EAD card more than a month ago. The online status still says the usual blurb about how long it usually takes and that they will inform me about a decision when made.

1. Is there any possibility that this might represent a computer glitch that might cause complications later on in some way - E.g. during renewal of the EAD next year?

2. Have you seen a contradiction like this elsewhere - online system shows a different status than what is known to be true since the approval has already been received?

3. Do I need to do anything to make sure the status is in sync or should I just ignore the online status (and assume they just didn't update the case online) since I already have the card?

3. You dont have to worry a thing. You have the EAD and you very well know that you did not buy it in the local pawn shop. So relax. Online Status facility was provided so that you can know what is happening in your case. And there is no promise of accuracy...

Thanks herenow for letting us know about this inspite of having the ead in hand.

This is a very good point to keep in mind as we depend a lot on the website. People will not just cross their fingers if their mail is lost or something like that.
