need help...........
i applied for I765 (EAD) and I485 (AOS), ve already done my FP, do i get my EAD b4 an interview or after an interview and how long will it take for me to get my EAD since i really ve to work.
Noooooooooooooo. EAD is an optional if you want to use it for work, if you have H visa or so, then you do not need EAD.

When did you file for your EAD?
Usually it takes 60-90 days from your receipt notice until you get your EAD. In my case, I had my EAD in hand around 70 days after the date on my receipt.

have not heard from then since.....they have not updated my status online......i really need my work permit to work...but i want to know whether i will go for interview first since b4 i get the work permit.

Well youre still well within the predicted approval times for EAD, so theres nothing you can do at the moment except wait. If, after 90 days you have still heard nothing, make an infopass appointment to inquire about it.
Like I said in my previous post, the average time for EAD approval is around 60-90 days, and youre not at the 60 day mark yet so youre just going to have to be patient.
As for whether you will go to interview first...well that depends on how quickly they process your AOS papers. I have seen some people have their interview before they get their EAD (and therefore dont need the EAD as they had their greencards approved first), but more commonly the EAD is approved much quicker than AOS.
