Hi

My current EAD expires on 03/27.
I haven\'t applied for my EAD extension, yet.
Can someone tell me how long it takes for approving EAD extensions. I am in Maryland. My AOS ND is 03/09/2001.

I missed the 90 days EAD deadline. When i checked the AVM for my I-485 it just gives the standard message.

I am very concerned about my EAD now. Please advise.

TSC EADs are going beyond 4 months from ND. What is your service center? Your local INS might give you the emergency work permit.. If not, your nearest district office will definitely give the emergency work permit (interim EAD) on the same day...

Is you application in VSC?
VSC took exactly 30 days to approve my renewal EAD!
If your service center is VSC apply right now ( try to send the
app by Feb 15th to save 20 bucks!)
I sent my own application and I had no RFE\'s

I applied for my EAD renewal on 11th. VSC must have rcvd. it on 12th.
Praying i will get my EAD extended before I run out of time

Download from INS web site

Download form from INS website. Take 2 ADIT photos Add a check for $120 (fees increased from Feb 19) and send it to the PO box listed in INS web site.
You can also apply with the local INS by mail. Find out from local INS.
 
EAD renewal

I had applied from my I-485 from NSC in December 2000. I received my EAD in Feb 2001. My current EAD expires in 02/22/02. In the mean time I have changed my place of residence from Detroit to Nebraska. On advice of my lawyer, my extension to EAD was applied in Texas on Nov 12, 2001. Last week we responded to RFE on 485.
 Today I received information that my case for EAD approval has been sent to NSC.
Q: Can I continue to work since I have my receipt advice for EAD extension?
Q: Will there be any problem in my GC
Q: How long does it take for one to receive approval after RFE response in NSC
