my ead gt approved yesterday after RFE notice for I-140 .
wac03122......
one thing i learnt from this 2nd EAD renewal process is to not to wait too long to get the temp.iead, i was little relaxed after the 90 day period and waited almost a week to apply for iead, but local INS denied to issue a iead since RFE was issued on my case

god know when they take the I-485 case

Good. WAC031425xxxxx cases are still pending. Are EADs
not worked on sequentially ?

RFE replied and received by BCIS on 19-MAY-03.

Not sure how many more days/months are required? Its 10.5 months now and still waiting ......

current EAD expires 10/28/2003. looks like i should get the renewal cards mailed out in time.

Eac-03-142-52 approved and card ordered on 7/11.

My wife's EAC-03-142-52- not approved yet.

Both were filed on April 8 and transfered to Los angeles on May 20. A week ago the online message said mine was received on June, maybe it meant transfered back.

The online message for our 485 (WAC-02-134) do not say trasfered. Any idea why our ead were transfered?
 
question on EAD application

Hi all,

Thanks guys, this forum has some great info!

I have a EAD application question:

I applied for EAD together with I-485 and had gotten the
EAD but never used it (I'm on H1B extension until Dec. '03).
The EAD expired last March.
Since, my H1B will expire (the whole 6 years) this December
I'm thinking of getting the EAD so I can continue to work past
the H1B expiration in December.

My question:
1) is this the only option I have (to get EAD after H1B
expiration)?
2) On the EAD application form must I check "renewal" even
though I never used it to work?
3) Do I need to attach/document all previous EAD?

Just hope I get the GC before I need to use EAD.

1) You may file H1B extension
2) "renewal"
3) All
