EAD and H4 Visa

Since the H4 becomes void-what will happen if the person wants to go back on H4 say after some period of doing job on EAD ?
Will he/she have to apply for fresh H4 or he/she comes on existing h4 as soon as he/she stops using EAD ?
 
have to re-enter with H4 visa. H4 and EAD are different class (non-immigrant and immigrant). I remember reading on the portal that change of status from immigrant class to non-immigrant is not allowed while being inside the country.

If someone on H4 starts working on EAD based on pending 485, can he or she apply for H1 for herself later once it becomes available?

What if the H4 has expired meanwhile. Say if the I-94 date has expired , then what will hapen ? How will the person enter when H4 has expired. Please explain !!

If H4 is expired then your wife is still legal to stay on AOS status whether she uses EAD for job or not thats upto you and her. BUt then the real Q is what Real canadian asked.

Your wife ie perfectly legal in the country and she can take any job if required.

I can think of only 2 possible cases in which you are seeking this advice......
1. R u afraid that if ur 485 gets denied so you can have time to stay in US till the expiry of ur visas. That makes sense then I guess you'll need to apply for a new H1 if yours expired.

2. If you have valid H1 visa then she will neeed to go out and get H4 visa stamped, may be this can be done inside US also by just sending her passport with relevant docs.
