EAD and H4 question

Hello,
I got my EAD card, but H4 is stil pending in INS. Will I have some trouble later if I use my EAD now? Thank you in advance.

Send a letter to INS withdrawing your H4 and start using EAD to work. There is a last action valid rule which says that the latest decision from INS is the valid one.
 
If I withdraw the H4 application for my self what will be status of my son ..

Well I have filed a combined H4 for myself and my son( age 5). Can I withdraw my application only and not for my son ( is it possible)?
 
A little confuse.

To my understanding, as the monent as you start to use EAD, you lose all your current status (H1 or H4). You will be in Adjust of Status. Why do you say "last action valid rule which says that the latest decision from INS is the valid one"?
Any other oppinion for this?
