EAD and AP renewal questions

How many photos we need to renew EAD and AP. I am ready to apply. I have a week less than 4 months to apply for EAD and AP because of my company attorney\'s delay. I have heard that 4 months before we should apply. I am not worried about that but just want to hear other\'s thoughts.

Is there any possibility to get EAD and AP extended with local INS in
case service center cannot process before its expiration date(Aug 02). What
would be possibility to get them extended with local INS without going to
service center.

Since EAD/AP are issued from the Notice date or a future date (if dates are specified in AP), it is better to apply 3-4 months before expiry.

See what your local INS office\'s policy is for EAD/AP(INS web site- field offices link).
Some local INS offices entertain direct applications for EAD/AP but generally you have to send it to the service center where 485 is pending. You could mail it to the local INS and generally they will give you a decision within a month.

I heard you can get EAD renewal in local INS. First consult your local INS

then apply in the service center where you applied for I-485.
