I have a valid EAD and advance Parole hrough my sponsor, but I am changing jobs and need to travel abroad immediately after joining the new company. Are my EAD and Advance Parole doc still valid? If not what do I need to do in order to be able to travel and return on a avalid status? My H1-B has expired a while ago.
PLEASE ADVISE - ANY HELP APPRECIATED!!

Your EAD and AP were self-petitioned, so they are valid no matter what you do so long as your Adjustment of Status is pending.

Thanks

Thanks for the prompt reply and the useful information.

Just one more concern - If I have been informed correctly, I have to notify USCIS after I change employment and get a new EAD issued? Also, as I mentioned I will be travelling on AP immediately after joining the new company - I was told that when I re-enter the US, at the POE, I will be asked if I work for the same employer - when I say I am not, but I have my new appointment letter with me, can I be refused re-entry due to change in employment ?
All help appreciated greatly......

Petition withdrawal by Former Employer in Concurrent filing of I140/I485

Thanks again - I did get a confirmation that it is valid to travel out of and return to the US witha valid AP no matter with whom you are working. I then heard from a colleague that my Former Employer can withdraw the petition? This was news - My I140 / I485 were filed concurrently in 2002 I just have the receiplt from INS that they got my above application and KI am in AOS pending status - CAN my employer withdraw the petition and what are my options if my employer DOES do it? Do I need any documentation from my earlier or current employers?

Any help is very welcome..
Thanks

if your I-140 is APPROVED and I-485 pending more than 180 days and you find a new job then you can use AC21 and past employer canot revoke the I-140. I-485 is your petition and any employer has nothing to do with I-485
