EAD after AC21

Does anyone have experience of obtaining second EAD after using AC21 to change jobs. I am concerned that with the confusion about AC21, the local office may refuse to issue iEAD..

Any thoughts would be helpful..

Have you informed BCIS of your change of employment?

If not, just file the EAD renewal application yourself and you'll get it in about 2 months.

Renewing EAD's has nothing to do with changing employers. Anyone on I-485 is eligible to apply for EAD and renew it until I-485 is processed. You should have noticed by now that when you file for EAD renewal, you are not asked to submit employer letter. You just need to enclose photos, copy of current EAD and INS fee.
 
Thanks everybody for helpful responses. fortunately I only waited 14 months for i140 (but did apply for 485 in oct 02 while still waiting for i140)...my experience with immigration matters is fairly limited...
