Hi every one,

my wife born in saudia arabia, but after that they moved to pakistan.
As saudi arabia is in list of coutries from where you can apply for DV- Lottery.
as she is a citizen of pakistan, but born in saudi arabia only

Can she apply for DV lottery or eligible to apply for it ?, i am trying to refer you guys here wat USCIS defines for country natives

please do advise??????
 
she has to play based on her country of BIRTH. Her country of citizenship or permanent residence has nothing to do with the DV lottery.
If natives of Saudi Arabia are eligible, then she can play.

Yes you are absolutely right. She can submit an entry to the lottery since she was born there.
In fact, even you can submit a separate entry for yourself even though you were (I assume) born in Pakistan. If you do then you will have to state that Pakistan is your country of birth and that Saudi Arabia is your country of chargeability. Both of these questions are asked separately in the online application form.
Just read the FAQ in the DV2009 visa instructions.
