DV Lottery - How furnishing DS-260 form

Hi Sm1smom,
DS-260 form asks for a "Permanent Address in US".
Is this asking my future permanent address in the US ?
Or,
just any permanent address of my any know persons where I can choose to get my Green card delivered ?

There are 1-2 my distantly known persons in US. But they hesitate to share their address.
What I should be doing in this case ?

Please guide me.

It's an address where the GC could be mailed to. It can also refer to where you wish to stay - the assumption of course is that the GC is being shipped to where you hope to stay in the US, and it doesn't have to be permanent because people move all the time, of course. You should try and convince those friends/relatives of yours that you have no plan of staying with them, you just need to provide their address for the GC to be mailed too. Plus even after submitting the DS-260 form, you can always go back and change the address before your interview, during the interview itself, or at the POE. Just because you're listing the address now doesn't mean you must stay there or have the GC mailed there.

On my L1 Visa, there is no 'Registration Number' or USISC Nnumber or any number staring with prefix 'A'.
But it has number as :
P#-EACxxxxxxxxxx (i.e. EAC followed by 10 digits)
It also has a 'Control Number' of 14 digits.

So it seems as my L1 does not have 'Alien Number'.

I have one confusion while writing academic duration in DS-260. it is:
Graduation course was of 3 years, ie. Bachelor of Science(Honors).
However, because of management and college boards internal issues, my session was delayed by further by 1 year.
So actual batch was of year 1991-1993; but because of delay the final exam was conducted by end of 1994, and certificated was awarded in 1995.

How much should I mention as duration for this degree in DS-260, 3 years or 4 years?
Please suggest.
 
DS-260 asks "Mother's surname at birth ".
For women in our country, mostly, the sure name at her birth is different (it follows paternal side) than that of after marriage(which follows per in-law side and continues).
But the problem here is: If I write her actual surname, which was used before her marriage, I don't have any proof; and also it doesn't match with her surname in my passport. Will it not create a problem, then ??

Fearing with that, I have written her surname which used after her marriage in my DS-260 form, which I have not submitted yet. Please suggest if it is good to submit with this or Should I put her real one which she used before her marriage ?

Sorry for asking small questions. But I take them seriously and whenever I don't feel confidence, or confused with any questions, I knock this forum's door .
I know you guys are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Then just leave the section blank.

Go with what's written on your certificate.

If they say surname at birth, they're clearly asking for her surname BEFORE marriage, and that's what you should put down. No one is expecting you to bring prove of that name, it's clearly understood in most places when a woman gets married, she takes on the husband's name. The surname at birth isn't expected to match what's on your passport or your B/C, except of course she kept that name after marriage or when she gave birth to you.

You're clearly over thinking the questions and that's preventing you from seeing the obvious answers in front of you.
