DV Lottery 2022 Mistake, added child 21 and over

I was recently invited for the 2022 Diversity Visa. On my initial DV application, I accidentally listed my son who had already turned 21. Now he appears on the online application system with the status of ACCOMPANY and the system requires a DS-260 for him. How can I remove him from the application since he is not under 21 and will not be accompanying us to the US? If I can't remove him from the application what should I do?

On the section of your Ds260 where it asks “will this child be immigrating with you”, check no.

I already checked no for that question but it still shows him on the application with the status ACCOMPANY. Is that fine? Does he need to fill out DS260 anyways?

No, he must not fill it out. You can contact kCC and ask them to remove it.
