DV 2026 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

1. Email subject line is:

"2026EU00020XXX Diversity Visa Adjustment Letter,

Attached is the Adjustment Letter.

In order for the Kentucky Consular Center to assist with inquiries regarding a specific Diversity Visa (DV) case, you must provide the Principal Applicant's full name, complete case number, and date of birth in the following format (MMDDYYYY) as entered on the original entry. Please remember that the Kentucky Consular Center does not have the authority to tell you whether or not your specific case will be disqualified. Only a consular officer can do that at the time of your visa interview. Do not send any paper documents to the Kentucky Consular Center."
2. Okay thank you.
3. I asked because I thought this is what early filling means: when your CN is close to becoming current by a month. In my case, the cut-off number is 20,000 and my CN is 20,XXX.
1. That seems to be a response to an email you originally sent to KCC.
3. I recommend you go through the FAQ tab of the AOS process spreadsheet to read up on early filing.

Hi!

Does joing the lawsuit/showing immigration intent mean I can't apply for OPT? Currently graduating in summer 2026 and I was looking it up online and found answers for both yes and no.

Thanks!

Applying for OPT after filing for AOS (which is a clear demonstration of an immigrant intent) did not negatively impact OPT approval in the past.

Hi @Sm1smom,

Hope you are doing well.

Should my financial sponsor list all of my family members on a single Form I-134, or is a separate form required for each family member?

thank you on your guidance.

Hi,

first of all thank you for maintaining this amazing resource for everyone!
My spouse has been selected in DV2026 and we're going through the AOS process - currently putting the package together.

I had a couple questions about document translations.
1. I read the FAQ but want to double-check this still applies in DV2026: Can anyone translate foreign documents as long as they sign a certification they're fluent in the original language and English?
2. What does that certification look like as an example that people successfully used?

1. Yes. Anyone outside of the person applying, or their immediate family member.
2. Sample certified statement:
