Your daughter only needs the first and second vaccine dose in order to be considered as having met the COVID vaccine requirements for immigration purpose. The CS should be able to sign off on her medical report after the second shot has been taken.

I wouldn’t recommend mailing the AOS package for the family with 2 medical reports included. You stand the risk of your daughter’s package being rejected and returned as incomplete when the Lockbox folks receive and review the contents of the package. There’s also the worst case scenario of the entire package for the three of you being rejected and returned due to your daughter’s missing medical report if you’re making the payment for all three with a single check.

You however can mail in the AOS package for the three of you without any medical report included with the mind of taking those to the interview when you get to that stage. Just make sure you review the FAQ section of the AOS Process Spreadsheet for the pros and cons of mailing without the medical report. Or wait for your daughter to get the second dose and mail everything together at that point.
Hi Mom,

Thanks for your reply. My daughter is only 2 years old and the 3 shots are primary dosage and required. I did call multiple civil surgeons and most of them said that we couldn't schedule her before she is done with the 3 shots. A few accepted scheduling the appointment but weren't clear if they would sign off from the first appointment or if they would still need to see her one more time after the 3rd shot to sign the form.

This is why providing pertinent information is of utmost importance when posting questions or asking for help. I wouldn't have taken the trouble of writing all I did in response if you had stated your daughter's age in your previous post, it's not like I have crystal ball you know.

First of all, thank you for your kind support. As I am currently under A-2 visa, should form i-566 be submitted with the package?

Hello, I am in the AOS process. My number was current in October and I did the fingerprinting on the 7th of December but I haven't heard from USCIS about the interview, yet. I was wondering if there is a way to contact the field office and have some info on interview weighting time for DV AOS. I found a resource on their website but DV is not one of the categories, so it is impossible for me to understand more or less when my interview will be scheduled.

Thanks
N.

Hello everyone, and thanks Mom for initiating this thread. I have read all the pages of this year and have some questions which I appreciate your time beforehand.

l am currently on F-1. Case number 2023AS95XX from Iran (has its own cutoff numbers). l will graduate from my university after my potential action to apply for a GC through AOS process. I also would like to file DS 260 to make sure I have followed all the steps one by one:

1. Does/can filing a DS 260 affect my future OPT issuance (if GC gets rejected or VISAs get exhausted)? For example, I imagine the OPT officer believes I have intentions to stay forever (which DS 260 really shows this intent) and at the same time, I am asking them to let me do my OPT which is an extension for international students, and I fear they reject my OPT for that reason.

2. Does anyone know any of their friends/relatives who did so and had no problem for OPT issuance?

3. I have the same question with sending DV payment. (if GC gets rejected) Does/can paying DV payment affect my OPT issuance as it counts as a “demonstration” of an immigrant intent?

3. This question is not directly related to this thread. I came here Aug 2017 (on F1 Visa). I have heard that after 5/6 years my access to get a most recent i-94 will be blocked. Is that true? If yes, how to get i-94 if on the day I want to prepare my package, I have no access to my i-94?

Thanks in advance

I have just received the 2NL from KCC with an attached form and receipt for payment DV Admin fees.
I am going with AOS Process using 245i. Could some one help with what should be my most immediate next step.
Do I file Form I-485 straight away?
Do I send the payment to KCC first?
I am at a loss , even after reading the AOS Process excel file on this website.
So any guidance on the most immediate step to take will be appreciated.

PS: This is meant to be a new post not a reply to the previous post but can't find the button for "New Post"
but only "Post Reply" so I hope it's in the right thread

While your CN was current in October, the Timeline spreadsheet shows you actually filed in November. Based on this (and a quick comparison of one or two other cases from the 2022 timeline spreadsheet), your case does not seem usually delayed IMO. USCIS no longer provides a way to directly contact the FOs. The options they've provided for case follow ups are by calling the 1800 (and hope you're lucky enough to get through to an agent that will not basically read a meaningless script to you), initiate an online chat with Emma, or submit an eRequest if your case meets the requirements for case outside normal processing time criteria.

1. While the DS260 submission constitutes a demonstrated immigrant intent, there is no known report (in this forum) of the submission preventing OPT approval.
2. We have reports of some past DV selectees in this forum who did exactly that. You can go through some of the past DV AOS threads if you want to read of their accounts.
3. Not something I'm aware of. Nonetheless, have you actually tried to access your I-94 online to verify if what you've heard is indeed true? Why do you need to wait until the day you want to prepare your package before downloading the I-94?

I'm not sure what you mean by you're "going with AOS process using 245i"

The steps you need to take are well laid out on the AOS Process Spreadsheet. I suggest you take another look at it, the "AOS Process" tab/section of that spread has steps 1-19 - this is basically a step by step guide of what you need to do, or what should happen when. You should spend a bit more time reviewing it for your own good.

My AOS package got returned and they ask me to send with new version of I-485 which was released on December 23rd to a contact center address of USCIS, I prepared and sent docs just before that, is it something to worry about ? do I need to to do anything else then just replacing the form ?
They returned the packet with all docs except they did not returned the medical (I-693) ... are they holding my packet for just the new form ?
I am worried if I need to undergo the medical process once again (which was a nightmare)

Thanks for your response. Based on this response, I would like to ask two follow-up questions.

1. Is it okay to get 2NL without DS 260, or submitting DS 260 itself will benefit me somehow (for example, is something that the officer will ask me on the interview day about it)?

Because what I understand from DS 260 submission is that it is the main trigger for 2NL. However, it seems only paying the DV fee (without DS 260) and waiting (my CN won't be current soon) may trigger the 2NL. So I am thinking of just paying the fee right now and wait (And in the case scenario of not getting the 2NL after a long enough period, I submit DS 260).

2. I can access it now through their website. However, when I want to print the i-94 form, there is an expiration at the bottom of the page. For example, I tried it today, and the expiration was until the end of January 2023. Thus, if I download it today, it will have expired by the time I want to file my case. Is it okay to send them an expired i-94?

Thanks for your time in advance.
