Hi everyone!

Looking for some advice what expect on the further interview with consular...



Problem:

I have been selected for further processing in DV Visa program.

But have some issue with filling spouse last name in DV application...

We got married in March2020 and she took my family name.
Due pandemic situation we didn't change her passport immediately on new with my surname in 2020.
When I filled application in November2020, I pointed out her maiden name from her active passport at that time (although she already officially had my surname)

But now we finally change her passport on my surname. In DS-260 application I will point out her family surname instead of maiden surname.

Can consular reject us in green card on interview due to I pointed out false surname of my spouse in application???
 
Not a problem. Make sure you list her new surname (yours) under the last name section on the DS260 form. Then list her maiden name under the Other Names section of the form.
