DV-2012 May 1st Selectees !!

The arguments about randomness judge used are very close to what I used here on this forum arguing with Kwame O.

A few comments.
1. A funny mistake of White.
Plaintiff Anna Gunya is a citizen of Russia and currently resides in Russia. For purposes of
the DV-2012 Lottery, her foreign state chargeability is Georgia. Russia is a DV-2012 eligible
country; therefore, Ms. Gunya was eligible to participate in the DV-2012 Lottery.

3. It looks like the judge promised sending the forms to KCC will be completely undone, and info about that will not be used in consulates while making adjudications on nonimmigrant visa applications. But that portion is not in the final court order or memoradnum opinion. very strange.

That is easy. It makes sense to participate for Luc too. If the appeal rejects July's results because of May lottery, he would qualify under May results.
 
BTW, White and Piston are extremely lucky, especially White. Now they represent the same case as Pratt. Possibly Kurzban will represent it too. That could write on their resume that have worked with him on the same case.
 
If you look at page 572 of the PDF, ALL the plaintiffs of the original case are officially (that is, in relation to the court, not in relation to the funding of the appeal) participating in the appeal. The appeal was filed on behalf of all the plaintiffs in the original case. That is what worries me

That should not worry him at all.
 
Money issues

Raevsky lm not sure the appeal will be taking place,because there seems to be some money issues regarding funding of the appeal.But we will see..
 
What I think is the process is legally very much interesting to Kurzban. I suspect he will not be able to miss an opportunity to participate in the appeal if allowed to, even for free. It looks like appeal challenges him a lot. He already promised to withdraw if not paid within two weeks, but he did not withdraw. I think it is on the limit of his powers to abandon the case.
He has also worked for free before.

@Styles i am fine.Guy have you notice some changes in this year DV program?i mean the askin of OPTIONALS in the DV entry form?@Styles when do you intend to enter your entry?
