DV 2010 sponsor/asstes/job offer

I came to know through several sites that DV 2010 winners must provide either

- A sponsor from USA or
- Suficient cash or assets or
- A job offer in USA

to avoid the winner become a public charge.

I wrote a little bit about things to know before entering the DV lotery...maybe that can help + the responses from others to the thread.

When I filled my DSP forms, I wrote N/A on where they required an adress of where I will want to live if I get to US, and N/A also on where I want my greencard mailed. Reasons was because I wasn't sure of a US sponsor then. Do anyone have an Idea if this could be a problem...

I am Sri Lankan who won dv 2010.
and I already submitted my completed documents which were sent by kcc with winning notifications. now I am looking forward until the second notification is received.

I put a one of my relation's name, address with telephone number who is resident in USA as a sponsor for me in those documents which I have already sent to KCC. But now he is going to change his home.
1). Normally does kcc call to this relation to confirm my details?
2). How can I change sponsor's details(address and telephone no)? Because I have already sent the documents to KCC.



3). I need to get my original birth certificate. From where can I get my original birth certificate in Sri Lanka? ( I guess Sri Lankan may help for this)

I am from Sri Lanka. I also having the same problem. Since my wife don't have the original BC. I got one certified true copy from the Divisional Secratariet in Narahenpita. You have to get it from the relavent divisional secretariet.
