Did you check your status online?
 
DId any of you got your 2nd letter? My friend send her papers in the beginning of JUne and a week ago she added some additional papers since she forgot to answer Q 4, and discovered her birth year was wrong....which is weird since all other years when the year of birth was printed on the conf. paper it was the right one...but she send in her Int. birth certificate with a copy of her passport....but I'm trying to find out how long it will take for the 2nd letter to be received. KCC informed her that paying the $ 375.- has nothing to do with the 2nd letter and she should wait till the visa bulletin of August 15 to do anything else.
 
Paying $375?

I thought that these money should be paid after recieving the second NL. Am I missing something?
 
No you have to pay upfront for doing AOS. Later when your number becomes current you send in the package to Chicago + your check of $1010.-
 
Hi i'm new at the forum. I received mine on may 2009, I live in Boston MAssachusetts . My case number 2010FA00031xxx.
Do you think I have a high number ? I'm from the Congo (republic) . Any experiences about adjusting status as A f1 visa holder? (international student.). What is the most reasonable to do in a case like that. Thanks

What do you mean by:
8/21/09Rec. AOS letter ? what kind of letter did he receive if he didn't apply with them till 10/13?

and from this line :10/09/09 cur. Dec ,
I infer that the number became current in December, so how did he manage to send the 485 on 10/13 without it being automatically rejected?
