I am an Asylee( Asylum Granted) and will be traveling to Hawaii next week, and it’s my understanding that Hawaii is part of US territory and one can travel with valid ID i.e. Drivers License...and am assuming flights to/from Hawaii are considered domestic.

I am just curious to know if they require more than Drivers License to re-enter the mainland.....just checking. Thank you so much for your help.

There will be no regular immigration inspection. It is a domestic flight. However you should alway have proof of your immigration status with you. In theory you are required to carry it at all time.

Per INA (Immigration and Nationality Act) you should be in possession of your immigration documents all the time (this includes GC also)
