I am a dual citizen of whats considered 3rd world countries lets say A-very poor and corrupt and B- poor corrupt and racist for example. I am planning on applying for an asylum in the US when i get there thru getting a visa from country A where i was born . right now i live in the country B due to horrible economic situation in country A.
Short facts about myself: I ve lived in the states for 4 years, first year on j1 the rest on F1. i owe my country two years of residency under J1 rule, thats why i couldnt get married and get a green card to stay in the US.
My question is - how does dual citizenship affect my case, what are my chances of getting approved? I am planning on getting a lawyer who knows this biz. If anyone has got similar situation and/or knows any facts please let me know and if you are a lawyer specialized on asylum cases that has experience leave your contact info as well.

I was planning on building my case on A only but now I'm facing a fact that asylum officer could say that I can move to the country B to avoid persecution. And I guess hiding the fact of having different citizenship is not the best idea since INS is capable of finding out. So that's why I'm trying to figure out what to do.

You have got VERY LITTLE chance of obtaining asylum anywhere in the world. You were firmly resettled and a lousier economy in the other countries is not a basis for asylum. And so far, you have not put forth any details about anything that could possibly be considered "persecution". You merely sound like an economic refugee.

You might have a better chance at getting a J-1 waiver. IF that is out of the question, then, you'll have to do your 2 years--get it over with.

Any lawyer that tells you that you have a good case is a liar and is just trying to get money from you.
