Dual-citizenship for the lottery?

Hello everyone, I've been with a terrible doubt regarding my eligibility for the program. I was born in Brazil, currently living in the U.S with a F1 Visa Status and I also have Spanish nationality and passport that I managed to get from my grandparents. Am I eligible to register myself using my Spanish passport even though I was born in Brazil, that is inelegible?

Short answer: NO!

Eligibility is based on birth country, not citizenship.

The only country that matters is where you are born, so Brazil is ineligible.
(If you have a spouse born in an eligible country you can cross charge but I’m guessing as a student you are probably single.)
