Relax- I think it means Yes... Does not hurt to know a few words in other languages...

I am Punjabi, but my native language is Hindi. Very unfortunate that it is not same for every Indian.

Why do you think it is unfortunate that every Indian's native language is not Hindi?

Jaxen if you want to learn few more languages you can buy the books and leant at home this portal is related to immigration not for study of languages.

The reply you posted shows your mentality
I have also read in other thread that somebody who was first time poster wrote his address and you threatened him that you will immediately delete the post, ( Rajiv Khanna our hosthas not spoken such language).
To be Volunteer Moderator it does not give you any authority to use that kind of language it shows your upbringing. To be Volunteer Moderator is not have any special qualifications I know that emails were sent to many if they would like to moderate for few hours, others are busy may not be able to devote time and you accepted it because I doubt you don’t have job or waste most of the time browsing the net and not honest to your employer.
Your replies to many posts have been wrong, with out understanding the question you just post what ever comes to your mind, you wrongly advised some one in this forum if one is out of US and AOS pending he can still apply for AP while one is not in US, you are suggesting the ways that are illegal and not supported by BCIS or any immigration law, regulations.
You are only interested in posting whatever comes to your mind; you don’t think what may be the results of your wrong advice.
Ginni just suggested that better to post the reply in English so that others can benefit, what was wrong in that suggestion? And you reply back that one should learn other languages, If I would have posed in Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati I would have immediately changed my answer to English and have not advised that learn few words of other languages, you just tried to cover up. I am reporting this to our host Rajiv Khanna and I don’t want this discussion forum to be related to Telgu, Tamil, Kannada language only, so that you can post in Telgu, Tamil and others will then follow in Bhojpuri, Bengali, Konkani and Haryanvi

Dingdong-12,
It looks like this is your first message. Do you think that you deserve to criticize members like Jaxen who devote their time for social cause???????????
If possible you help others otherwise you can be silent viewer as you used to be.

I apologize if your sentiments have been hurt. I did not mean to boss over or create any language hegemony here.
In case my original answer is incomprehensible, I was saying Yes to the question about whether you have to write the applicant's name in the native language, even if it is tamil.
Lightheartedly I responded with a one word answer - the equivalent of yes in tamil. My intention was to keep with my "so called attitude" in giving the right answers and not digress from what the question sought for- immigration wise.

To answer some of ding-dong's allegations
1. Sorry I cannot post about what comes in somebody else's mind. I can only post what I think is right.

2. I stand behind my conviction (and experiences) that one can still apply for AP when outside US. It is not illegal. BCIS warns that it will be better for the candidate to get AP before leaving USA- This warning is for people who are the illegal aliens who get the false sense of security just because their 485 is pending. For most of the employment based 485s (a miniscule 15-18% of the total 485s pending) there are some provisions. But this is not the I485 forum.
One need to appreciate the circumstances and differences from their own case before assuming things from an answer, which might suit a particular set of conditions and so, cannot be global.

3. Let my conscience worry about whether I cheat my employer or not. You dont know what kind of work I do, or what times I work.

4. Volunteer moderator help rajiv in simple housekeeping. Neither should we be considered as authorities in immigration or rely upon for accurate information.

In an effort to stop psychological evaluations of people who post here, I am closing this thread.
