DS 156 question regarding green card status of parents

Hi folks !

my parents are green card holders but staying in india currently . I am going for visa stamping(h1 transfer) in canada , what should i mention in my DS 156 form about my parents green card status. Should i hide it from US consulate?

I have also filed my immigration petition but didnt receieve any info about that yet . and i will mention that in ds 156.

what should i do...any help ??

btw, are your parents living permanently in India now ??

Answer to your questions would depend on this.
 
yes , my parents stay in india but they are maintaining green card by visiting USA once in two years. But they never worked here or paid taxes or anything .

Just visiting the US once every 2 years does NOT maintain their Green Card.
Since they are permanently living outside the US, they lost their GC status.

I'm surprised that they are even able to re-enter !!
How many times have they done this re-entry every 2 years thing now ?? If its only once, maybe it was just luck !

here --> meaning US or India ??
Am assuming you are telling us that your parents have never worked and paid taxes in the US .... that correct ??
