DS 156/157 Online for H1B Stamping in Canada

Hi,

I am going to Vancouver, Canada for my H1B stamping. I already have recd my appointment letter. The letter does not say anything about filling the DS 156/157 online.

I wanted to know if its compulsory to finish it online and what are the advantages to it.

If I make a mistake can I go back and fill the form again? Does the online form submit any information?

Ok i just clicked on the link at

and I find that its a PDF that needs to be downloaded and filled? Does that generate a Bar code as suggested on the page?

Kind of confused as to where does the unique bar code get generated as mentioned on the page?

I don't think that PDF document will generate bar code. I believe you get that option (DS-156 with barcode) right after scheduling appointment at nvars.com.

Anyway, DS156 with bar code is optional.

Q 9.

List all the countries you have entered in last 10 years?

Do I include all the countries that I stopped over for transit during my flight back to India?

not enough space for Q12?

There does not seem to be enough space to fill the fillable PDF for Q 12. The address is longer than the fillable area and is not visible.

Do you suggest I fill it by hand?

Q 12: please see the attached Sheet A

then attach Sheet A and witite on that sheet and attach it with form
 
Do we need a Canadian visa to enter Canada for validation in Vancouver?

Is it a requirements when entering US from Canada?

Never done this before.... thanks
 
For revalidation for H1B in Canada, Is there any condition on exp. date on current Visa stamped in the passport? If my stamped Visa is expired , Can I go to Canada for new Visa Issuance.
