Hi
I am waiting for my finger print notice. I just noticed that I have dry fingers and at places some skin is quite dry. I started using vasciline.

Q1: Is there any other recommended creame to make the finger moisture?

Also, my wife's one finger got a small burn during cooking last week.
Q2: should I be worry about this?

I remember seeeing some one recommendation in this forum on creame for dry fingers but I could not find it. So I am sorry if this question has been asked already.

Thank you,

I had to be fingerprinted in order to be badged for access to school property for business reasons.

I was given a small dab of corn husk oil to rub into the hands and finger ends before the fingerprints were taken.

It is very inexpensive from the drugstore.

Do you have any scientic knowledge in FG; in other words, what makes think that the USCIS prefers wet
fingers over dry ones?
Becareful with what you do with your fingers before fingerprinting. Do not arose in the USCIS staff that you
want to override an allready existing FP...burn..dry......sound suspicious...

If I were you, I would just present my fingers in their natural way, and have them figure out...The USCIS wil
you what to do if your FP do not print well. Also they have some liguid that they use for some purpose..so as
they are taking your FP, they will be using it...so don't worry too much about FD...

Hey all,
Don't worry, that Corn Huskers lotion really worked on my wife. We just got that for 3-4 dollars from Walmart and after having been unread once, she started using it religiously for 3 weeks. She did all the housework with plastic gloves on and tried not to wash her hand as many times as before. ( She is a frequent hand-washer ) and after each time she washed her hands she used the lotion. Almost each time. One more thing she did was before going to sleep she used the solution profusely and then all night long wore cotton gloves which we had also bought from Walmart for 2-3 dollars. Thank God these really worked and her fingerprints could be read in the second try. Special thanks to the people who wrote these tips in the forums before. And good luck!
